Hackmos 2025: The largest Cosmos Hackathon is coming to the Balkans!
Welcome to the third edition of Hackmos, the beating heart of our Cosmoverse Builders Track!
This Cosmos-focused hackathon kicks off remotely on October 1st, and culminates in an exciting in-person hacking and presenting experience at Cosmoverse Split (October 30 — November 1).
Co-hosted by DoraHacks, Hackmos 2025 is your entry point to explore and build with the Cosmos Stack!
We’re excited to bring together developers from around the world, particularly tapping into the rich talent pool in the Balkans. This year’s hackathon will feature diverse tracks, including artificial intelligence, Bitcoin, interoperability, and tokenization of real-world assets.
Hackmos is your chance to experiment with the Cosmos Tech Stack and start building within the Internet of Blockchains. The Cosmos Stack is the most flexible and customizable in the industry, allowing you to build anything from CosmWasm and EVM applications to your own Cosmos SDK chain, connected by the most seamless blockchain interoperability protocol: IBC.
We’re thrilled to co-host the event with DoraHacks, a leading global hacker community and open-source incentive platform. DoraHacks is renowned for organizing hackathons and fostering a vibrant developer ecosystem. All Hackmos 2025 submissions will be seamlessly managed via the DoraHacks platform, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all participants.
Hackmos 2025 is a hybrid event, kicking off online on October 1st and culminating with in-person finals on November 1st in Split, Croatia. During Cosmoverse, the Hackmos Lounge, a dedicated co-working space, will provide participants with mentorship and workshops.

Key Highlights
Hybrid Participation: Engage remotely from October 1st, with in-person participation from October 30th to November 1st during the Hackmos finals. Remote participation is possible, but joining in-person during Cosmoverse Split is highly recommended for the full experience.
