Cosmos HackAtom is Coming to Seoul!! 🚀

Today, we are proud to announce the date for our premiere hackathon of the year, Cosmos HackAtom Seoul 2019. This year, the event will be held July 19–21, just before BUIDL 2019.

For 72 hours straight, 140 of Korea’s best creators, developers, and hackers will compete at Seoul Startup Hub. Winning teams will compete to take home $35,000 total in prizes, which will be rewarded to the best, most creative engineering teams that the Interchain has ever seen.

• 1st Prize winner takes home $20,000 USD equivalent
• 2nd Prize winner takes home $7,000 USD equivalent
• Four 3rd Prize winners take home $2,000 USD equivalent per team

📢 Call for Hackers

To all you digital pirates, experimentalists, and hackers in the Cosmos universe! If you think you have the skills to squash the competition, we dare you to come hack the Cosmos.

You have the option to participate as an individual or as a team. If you don’t have a team yet and would like to compose one during the hackathon, you have the option to to do that. But finding a good team on the spot may not be the optimal strategy, and you may want to give yourself time to find the best team members before the hackathon. If you’re applying as a team, you’ll each need to apply individually and indicate your team’s name.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network and meet other contributors of the Cosmos community. Cosmos has one of the most vibrant and active ecosystem of engineers, validators, and industry-wide relationships that the blockchain sector has to offer. Many of these Cosmonauts will be there, so bring your best space boot forward.
